Danay Suárez

The main asset of this young singer and songwriter, born in Havana in 1985, is her versatility. Its ability to move from Jazz to Hip Hop, and from this to the traditional genres of the island, without just disheveled in a satin formula in which elegance is holy and strong.
He tanned under the urban music scene in Cuba and grew artistically with the help of X Alfonso, until he took a giant step with the Havana Cultura project, prior to the release in 2014 of Dust of Moisture, his first album. Since then, and after going through the stages of South By Southwest, Afro-Latino Festival, Ben Folds Declassified Concert at the Kennedy Center in Washington, among other important events, his credit has only increased, especially after the publication of Words Manuals, a second album that features collaborations by Stephen Marley, Idan Raichel, Roberto Fonseca, among other high-caliber musicians.
His progression has been backed by the Silver Gaviota de la Inspiración he obtained in Viña del Mar (Chile, 2017) and his 4 Latin Nominations GRAMMY 2017. Danay is finishing the recordings of his next album called VIVE that will premiere in 2020 .
